The iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable smartphone.
Unfolding the device reveals an expansive 7.6-inch display—the largest ever on an iPhone, offering 50% more screen real estate than iPhone 18 Pro Max.
When unfolded, the body measures just 5.2mm thick, making it even thinner than the 5.64mm iPhone Air.
Powered by iOS redesigned specifically for iPhone Duo, users can place two apps side-by-side and operate them simultaneously.
Folding the device into an L-shape also allows users to prop it up on a desk for hands-free media consumption.
The inner display features a 7.6-inch Super Retina XDR display with a proprietary Nano-texture finish that minimizes glare and reflections.
The 5.4-inch outer cover display shares nearly the exact same aspect ratio as the inner display, ensuring content seamlessly fills the entire screen whether folded or unfolded.
Both screens support up to 3,000 nits peak brightness and ProMotion up to 120Hz, providing vivid, fluid visuals even under direct sunlight.
48MP Dual Fusion Camera System Unleashes Creative Angles Enabled by Folding
The rear camera module features a 48MP Fusion Main camera and a 48MP Fusion Ultra Wide camera.
The outer display houses a 12MP Center Stage front camera, while the inner display features a hidden under-display FaceTime camera seamlessly embedded below the screen.
It also features smart shooting modes such as Smart Capture, which automatically trips the shutter when everyone in the frame is posed and ready, and Duo Preview, which lets subjects preview their pose on the outer display in real time.
The device includes a host of unique camera capabilities tailored specifically for the iPhone Duo form factor.

The design maximizes battery capacity using an iPhone-first dual-battery architecture and an eSIM-only layout.
It offers up to 31 hours of video playback when using the inner display and up to 44 hours of video playback using the outer display.

Touch ID Integrated into Side Button, Apple Pencil (USB-C) Support
Instead of Face ID, iPhone Duo integrates fingerprint-based Touch ID directly into the side button.
