The Kingdom of Granshelt, a land of knights.
The people lived peaceful lives, enjoying the blessings bestowed by the “Crystals.”
One day, Rain, captain of the airship squadron, received an order from the king.
He was ordered to investigate, alongside Raswell, the cause of the weakening magic at the Temple of Earth—a place the kingdom had protected for generations.
At the Temple of Earth, Rain encounters a suspicious man in armor.
However, he is defeated by the man’s overwhelming power, and the Earth Crystal is destroyed.
Although Rain and his companions managed to survive, their airship was destroyed, and all of his subordinates were wiped out...
When Rain and his companions returned, they found Granshirt under attack by the armored man who called himself “Verias of Eternal Darkness.”
Though they managed to rescue the king, Rain and his companions were defeated once again by Verias of Eternal Darkness.
To protect the other crystals scattered across the world, Rain and Raswell set out on a journey to pursue Verias of Eternal Darkness, accompanied by Fina, a mysterious girl who had lost her memory.
However, at that moment, they had no way of knowing the turbulent fate that awaited them ahead...

Turn-based command battles that make full use of “Break” and “Resonance”!

PlayStation.Blog

The game features the series’ signature turn-based command battle system.
A “timeline” at the top of the screen shows the turn order for allies and enemies, allowing you to plan your strategy while anticipating enemy moves.

A " Break Gauge " is located below the enemy’s HP gauge, and you can efficiently deplete this gauge by using attacks based on elemental weaknesses or specific moves.
When the gauge is completely depleted, the enemy enters a “ Break ” state and cannot act for the remainder of that turn.
If you break all enemies within the same turn, a “Full Break ” occurs.
An “Extra Phase ” is added at the end of that turn, allowing all party members to act once more.

Furthermore, at the end of the Extra Phase, you can activate “Resonance,” a special move unique to each Vision.
These include powerful area-of-effect attacks and moves with additional effects, making the timing of your Break attempts a crucial element of battle.

Protagonists from past "Final Fantasy" series titles appear as "Visions"!

One of the game’s character-building elements is the “Vision” system.
By clearing events with characters you encounter in the story, you may obtain “Vision Crystals,” which are crystallizations of those characters’ feelings.

Equipping a Vision Crystal allows you to inherit that character’s traits or learn their abilities.
Additionally, at “Shrines of Light” scattered throughout the world, you can obtain Vision Crystals featuring protagonists from past “Final Fantasy” series titles.

Powerful summoned beasts—"Phantom Beasts"—also make an appearance!

As you progress through the story and side quests, you’ll gain access to powerful summons known as “ Mythical Beasts.”
Once summoned, a Mythical Beast participates in battle for 3 turns, unleashing a powerful attack on its final turn before vanishing.

Although summoning them consumes a lot of MP, they have the power to drastically change the course of battle, so you can expect them to shine in battles against powerful enemies.

Featuring powerful foes like Gilgamesh and Ultima Weapon! Packed with plenty of content to keep you engaged

" Final Fantasy Resonance " also features a wealth of high-difficulty content where you can test your trained characters and party compositions.
During your adventure, an event will occur where you encounter the series’ iconic swordsman " Gilgamesh," allowing you to challenge him to a decisive battle on the Great Bridge.
Additionally, in the “Colosseum,” you can take on battles against powerful monsters.
Victory unlocks the next rank, and you can obtain powerful items based on the rank you clear.
In higher ranks, formidable foes appear that require a level equivalent to or higher than the game’s completion level.

Furthermore, the “Twelve Weapons” feature makes its debut, where you can break the seals on 12 weapons scattered across the world.
By defeating the sealed bosses, you can obtain powerful weapons and armor.
Toward the end of the game, a battle against the strongest enemy, the “Ultima Weapon,” awaits.
This formidable foe boasts high attack power and HP, so even a well-leveled party will need to employ strategic tactics to defeat it.
