Psychological Horror "SILENT HILL 2" Released! Pyramid Head Appears in the Launch Trailer!

Konami has released the long-awaited remake, "SILENT HILL 2," for PlayStation 5 and Steam on Tuesday, October 8, 2024.
This title is a modern remake of the psychological horror game "SILENT HILL 2," which was originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2001.

New Elements in the Remake

In "SILENT HILL 2," James, the protagonist, explores Silent Hill, the location of his memories with his deceased wife Mary in a profound story where he confronts his own past.
The remake features the following new elements:

• Evolution of Graphics and Sound: The visual and auditory experience has been enhanced with the latest technology for even greater immersion.
• Expanded Exploration Area: A wider area is now available for exploration.
• Introduction of Over-the-Shoulder View: Character movements and combat feel more realistic.
• Revamped Combat System: The combat has evolved to be more thrilling.
• Addition of New Cutscenes: A new perspective is added to the original work, allowing even new players to enjoy it.
