SQUARE ENIX will release the RPG " Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven " on October 24, 2024 (Thursday). The game will also feature a demo version that allows save data to be transferred, as well as information on campaigns and collaborations to commemorate the release!

This is a full 3D remake of "Romancing Saga 2" released in 1993. Although this is the second title in the series, the story is not a direct continuation of the original, so even those who have no experience with the original can enjoy the game!

While inheriting the unique system of the original "Saga" series that sets it apart from other RPGs, the game system has been restructured with an evolved battle and growth system, additional difficulty settings, and a new 3D visual style, so both newcomers to the "Saga" series and fans of the original can enjoy the game to the fullest. It is the year 1000 of the imperial calendar. The world is rife with terrifying demons, and warfare between nations vying for supremacy continues unabated. One day, Kuzinci, one of the Seven Heroes, raids Avalon, the capital of the Varennes Empire. He laid waste to the people and took the life of Prince Victor, the brave heir to the empire. The legend was false. As the people are filled with despair and sorrow, Viktor's father, Emperor Leon, vows to take revenge against the powerful Seven Heroes. Using the "Law of Lore" given to him by the mage Oaïve, he found a way to fight back at the cost of his own life, and passed on his power and memories to his other son, Gérard. Today, we have successfully celebrated the release date of "Romancing Saga 2: Revenge of the Seven". I have been working on Romancing Saga 2 for the past three years, and I am once again reminded of the greatness of Kawazu and the staff of the original version.
