We recently reported on the ASUS and ROG flagship stores in the "Syntrend Creative Park," and now we have visited the ASUS headquarters!
The new and bigger new building
This website opened in October 2018, but will actually begin full operation in April 2019. One month later, in May 2019, ASUS headquarters opened its new building.
A huge building welcomes you.
Inside, you will find a spacious entrance.
The Purpose is posted on the wall.
Trophies and plaques are displayed to honor past awards.
Past products are also on display!
There is a sofa at the end of the entrance, a perfect area for relaxing or meeting.
On the wall near the stairs, you can see ASUS products from previous generations.
Zenbo, which was not yet released in Japan! I'm so glad to finally meet him! It's so big!
Whenever Taiwanese staff members return to their home countries, I have always asked them to bring Zenbo as a souvenir, but they have always ignored my requests, so I finally got to see the real Zenbo.
The company cafeteria area is just like a food court in a shopping mall.
I was excited to see what the company cafeteria at ASUS would be like, but...
What is this? It is more luxurious than the food court in Al Plaza.
Famous chain restaurants and convenience stores too.
If you go to the back of the building, you will find even a Starbucks! I was surprised at the high level of eco-consciousness with many people carrying their own cups, and to my surprise, employees are not allowed to purchase drinks without their own cups.
Refreshing recreation room
Going up to the 4th floor, there is a gym where employees can exercise and keep fit. This is e-sports(?).
There is also a billiard table and the Tech Company's customary table soccer game table.
This is how ASUS products are born.
I realized that such a wonderful environment is the reason why ASUS products are created in such a wonderful way. Remote work has become popular due to the Corona Disaster, but this beautiful headquarters makes me want to come to work!
The cafeteria is also a really nice environment, with employees chatting with each other and doing a little work. That was my introduction to the ASUS headquarters! Next time, I would like to introduce the special exhibition rooms and other facilities that touch the core of ASUS' product design, so stay tuned!
