Comment from General Producer Masashi Sawatari
PR TIMESIt has been about 33 years since I directed the national tournament for Street Fighter II in 1991. I have continuously supported the fighting game boom. I am happy that Street Fighter 6 is supported by an unprecedentedly wide range of age groups and that competition is unfolding due to the influx of players from various game genres. To further accelerate this momentum, I decided to produce this tournament. I want as many people as possible to participate, including those who have been playing for many years, those who are making their fighting game debut with this title, and the younger generation who have never experienced an offline tournament before. Let's enjoy it!

Comment from Tournament Advisor Junichi Kagesawa
PR TIMESI'm Kagecchi. Since participating in the Gamest Cup for Street Fighter III when I was a high school student, I've been captivated by the charm of tournaments, and for about 25 years since then, I have been following in the footsteps of people like Sawatari and running events. Currently, for Street Fighter 6, based on the experience I cultivated in Street Fighter III, Street Fighter IV, and Street Fighter V, I am holding official battle gatherings and tournaments called "Fighters Crossover" in about 30 locations nationwide in Japan. Thank you all for your continuous support.
For the "CAPCOM Pro Tour," I served as the Tournament Operations Director at the OFFLINE PREMIER held at Tokyo Game Show in 2016, and as the Tournament Producer for WORLD WARRIOR in 2022 and 2023. Since this will be the first offline PREMIER in Japan in five years, and the finals, "CAPCOM CUP 11," will be held in my hometown of Ryōgoku Kokugikan, I am quietly overcome with ecstasy.
As a Tournament Advisor, I plan to make this an event that will be a lifelong memory not only for Japanese players but also for international players visiting Japan, and all the fans and community members who come to the venue. If you have any hopes or requests, please feel free to send them my way. Let's all enjoy it together!
