Additional information on the Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Exhibition " Dragon Quest the DIVE " to be held from July 17 (Fri.) to September 6 (Sun.), 2026, has been released! Development materials, original drawings, and sheet music will be on display, and details of original goods have been announced.

At " DRAGON QUEST the DIVE ", after passing through the entrance and experiencing the immersive attraction "DRAGON QUEST VR RIDE", visitors can enjoy various contents in each area.
40th Anniversary Exhibition "This is how Dragon Quest was born" (Japanese only)

In the COVER/Temple area on the 2nd floor of the main venue, the development materials by Yuji Horii, original drawings by Akira Toriyama, and music scores by Koichi Sugiyama will be exhibited under the theme of how "Dragon Quest," the first in the series, was created! There will also be a timeline of the 40-year history of the "Dragon Quest" series.
Taking still photos and videos is prohibited in the temple area, so be sure to visit the exhibition hall to capture the history of Dragon Quest for your own eyes.

The main content of the event, "Dragon Quest VR RIDE," is an attraction that uses the latest VR device - Meta Quest3 - and motion sheets to run through the 360-degree world of "Dragon Quest. The vast field that you ride through on the Killer Panther, the encounters and battles with monsters that unfold before your eyes, and other aspects of the immersive experience that can only be experienced here.
In addition, on May 27, 2026 (Wed.) at 20:00 on the official Square Enix YouTube channel, a report on the fastest test ride of VR RIDE, which is currently in production, will be broadcast on the " Dragon Quest 40th Anniversary Live Streaming to Celebrate with Everyone feat. The report on the fastest test ride of the VR RIDE is scheduled to be distributed.
