Many players from the U.S. participate in this tournament due to its location, but in recent years, the number of players from Japan has been increasing as well. Many players from e-sports teams such as ZETA DIVISION, FENNEL, and REJECT participated in this year's "GENESIS X2", and many of them made it to the top.
The finalists who beat last year's "GENESIS X" champion, Zomba, were Hurt from ENTER FORCE.36 andacola(@acola_Lui ) from ZETA DIVISION. In the semifinals, Hurt's Snake overwhelmed Acola's Steve to win, and that trend did not change in the finals. Hurt's character strategy was perfect, as he won 3-0 to become the undefeated "GENESIS X2" Champion!
