Tomokun: I did my best because of the cheering voices and the desire to hold consecutive championships.
Yuki: My idol is Tomo-kun, so I wanted to win with him.
Q. What made you decide to compete in this tournament?
Tomo-kun: I am in my fourth year of university, and I was busy with various things, so I thought it would be okay not to compete, but I wanted to go to Saga with Yuki and win the championship, so I decided to compete.
Yuki: I entered the competition because Tomo-kun was my goal.
Q. You said that you adapt the way you stack Puyos depending on your opponent.
Tomo-kun: I can tell who is this type of player, or who is aggressive or defensive.
Yuki: If I play 10 games ahead of time, I can tell what kind of style my opponent has by the fifth game or so. But I don't like to win by taking countermeasures, and I want to win by continuing to play my own Puyos. Q. What are your ambitions for next year?
Tomokun: I think I will participate again next year, so I will do my best to win 5 consecutive championships!
