MONT BLANC - Mont Blanc no Osake- recreates Mont Blanc as a spirit.
The scent of autumn is starting to be felt, if only a little, these days.
While summer is the season for delicious beer, how about a graceful dessert liqueur for autumn?
Once again, we had the cooperation of Kiyoaki (@kiyoaki_gohan), from the YouTube channel "Kiyoaki Shokudo," for the photoshoot!
It's delicious on its own, but it also shows a wonderful harmony as a dessert when poured over vanilla ice cream.
The rich aroma of brandy is lovely.
With one sip, you feel like you're eating Mont Blanc.
It wasn't just sweet! The aftertaste of vodka slowly went down my throat after the sweetness, so it was definitely a proper spirit (lol).
When I poured it over ice cream, it tasted like a rich, delicious chestnut ice cream.

Next up is SWEET POTATO -Sweet Potato no Osake-.
It's no exaggeration to say that Mont Blanc and sweet potato are the two most representative desserts of autumn.
Which side are you on?
It's thick and gooey, and the color is exactly like a sweet potato.
The sweet potato used is the popular Beni Haruka variety!
The aroma is more subdued than MONT BLANC - Mont Blanc no Osake-.
If the chestnut were a hot-headed new recruit, the sweet potato would be a seasoned veteran with a reassuring presence (?).
It's a firm sweet potato with a strong alcoholic taste and a modest sweetness.
I thought it was more delicious when I poured it over ice cream than when I drank it straight!
When you have it with vanilla ice cream, the alcoholic taste disappears, and it becomes a sweet and delicious high-quality sweet potato ice cream.

PISTACHIO -Pistachio no Osake- is a liqueur packed with the rich flavor of pistachios.
The pistachio boom comes and goes, but this one has been properly turned into a liqueur!
The green color, unique to pistachios, has a tremendous impact.
Unexpectedly, the texture is on the thinner side.
Since there's even pistachio ice cream, it's bound to be a great match when poured over vanilla ice cream.
It's also delicious to mix it in a little after pouring plenty of PISTACHIO -Pistachio no Osake- over the ice cream!
It's very easy to drink, and the pistachio aroma and sweetness slowly spread throughout your mouth.
And when you pour it over ice cream, it's just so good! It turns into a rich pistachio ice cream.
With this level of quality, it feels like patissiers might lose their jobs (lol).

Last up is APPO PIE. You read it as "Apple Pie"!
This is a liqueur that uses 100% apples from Southern Shinshu, which are full of honey.
It's said to have cinnamon steeped in shochu...
The aroma brings out the sweetness of the pie to the fullest.
But when you taste it, it's surprisingly refreshing.
Partially because the previous three spirits were all on the sweet side, it cleared my palate.
The aroma is like a sweet and delicious apple pie. The hint of vanilla essence as a secret ingredient enhances the pie-like flavor.
But when you drink it, it has a refreshing, slightly sour taste.
The juiciness of the apple really stands out.
And when you pour it over ice cream, it takes on a different flavor!
The sourness is no longer noticeable at all, and it becomes a delicious apple pie ice cream that isn't too sweet.
The aftertaste doesn't linger too much in your mouth, making it a very high-quality dessert!
