KRAFTON JAPAN Inc. announced that it will hold "PUBG GLOBAL SERIES 5" (hereafter referred to as PGS 5), an esports global tournament for "PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS," in Bangkok, Thailand, from Monday, October 21, to Sunday, October 27, 2024.
PGS 5 is a tournament where 24 teams from all over the world will compete for a total prize pool of $300,000, and the winning team will be awarded $100,000.
This tournament is an important event for teams to qualify for the "PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2024," the pinnacle of PUBG esports.

"PUBG GLOBAL SERIES 5" Is Here!

PGS 5 will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from Monday, October 21, to Sunday, October 27, 2024.
24 teams from all over the world will participate in the tournament and be divided into three groups (A, B, and C).
The group stage will take place from Monday, October 21, to Wednesday, October 23, and the top teams from each group will advance to the final stage.
The final stage will be held from Friday, October 25, to Sunday, October 27, where the final champion will be decided.
All matches will start at 8:00 PM and will be live-streamed on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS JAPAN YouTube channel and the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS JAPAN Twitch channel.

PGS points will be awarded to each team based on their final ranking in PGS 5, and the top eight teams with the highest cumulative PGS points for the year will earn a spot in the "PUBG GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP 2024."

What is "PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS"?

"PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS" is a battle royale shooter game where up to 100 players compete.
