Sega Corporation announced the players from each region who have been selected to advance to the main tournament in Shiga for the "National Prefectural Competitive Esports Championship 2025 SHIGA Puyo Puyo Division," a national tournament for the competitive action puzzle game "Puyo Puyo."
The block qualifier tournaments for the Elementary School Division and the Open Entry Division were held online on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, August 31, 2025, and skilled players from all over the country were selected.

The block qualifier tournaments for the "National Prefectural Competitive Esports Championship 2025 SHIGA Puyo Puyo Division" main tournament in Shiga have been completed, and the players who will represent each block have been decided.
The qualifier tournaments were held online, with the 47 prefectures divided into eight blocks. The players who triumphed in the fierce competition and secured their spots in the main tournament, which will be held in Shiga Prefecture on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23, 2025, are as follows:

A "Score Attack Campaign" using Puyo Puyo Champions is currently being held.
In the "Official Challenge" of the in-game "Challenge" mode, players compete for the highest score by clearing Puyo within a two-minute time limit.
Furthermore, the top player in each division will be granted a spot in the main tournament in Shiga!
The entry deadline for the Score Attack Campaign is Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM.
In addition to the tournament spot, 10 participants will also be selected by lottery to receive Puyo Puyo merchandise, so if you're interested, why not give it a shot?
