In the second round, "Machabo" started with Gouki's Super Arts Lv.3 "禍坏", followed by "Hyakki Gou Zanku" to burn out his opponent and "Drive Impact" to stun him, showing that he is Mr. Optimal Solution! He then used "Drive Impact" to stun the opponent and take the team's first win of the season.

Post-game interview with Machabo

Machabo: I was a little nervous about playing against the same character, but I was able to win the match by taking advantage of my teammates' advice.

PR TIMES

Q2: How did you decide who would play in the extra round?

Machabo: I was told by my teammates that they thought Machabo would be a good choice, so I decided to play. To be honest, I was so busy cheering for my teammates that I had not thought about the overtime game, but I am glad that we were able to win.

PR TIMES

Machabo: I was conscious of "having confidence," "not being afraid," and "opening up.

PR TIMES

MATCH 2: [AWAY] Good 8 Squad vs Shinobi-ism Gaming [HOME

PR TIMES

Spearhead Match: YHC-Mochi(Dhalsim)(Classic) vs Momochi(Ed)(Classic)

In the spearhead match, "YHC-Mochi" used "Yoga Teleport" to catch "Momochi's" anti-air attacks, which gave him the upper hand in the match. Momochi, not to be outdone, took many chances by dodging Dhalsim's long-range attacks, but he was unable to break YHC-Mochi. In the final stages of the second battle, "Momochi" tried to win the match with his "Combo Attack" using Super Arts, but "YHC-Mochi" was able to counterattack and win the match.

Mid-round match: Gachi-kun (Rashid) (Classic) vs Fujimura (Gouki) (Classic)

From the first battle in the middle round, "Gachikun" took control of the match by using Rashid's Super Arts Lv.2 "Iusar" as a starting point. However, "Fujimura" showed that he would not be easily defeated, and succeeded in taking back the BATTLE by using Super Arts Lv.3 "禍坏" and "Combo Attacks". The back-and-forth battle continued, and in the middle rounds of the full set, "Gachi-kun" scored a "Lethal Combo" in the end to take away "Fujimura's" share of the spoils, securing a big win to make up for last season's defeat.

General Game: Kawano (Gouki)(Classic) vs Jonny (Mariza)(Classic)

In the general match, "Kawano" showed excellent moves to avoid being caught by Mariza's attacks from the beginning. He also showed a series of super plays that could be described as "Kawano's", such as his "Just Parry" at key moments and his super reaction to Mariza's "Phalanx" with Gouki's "Goushoryuken". In the end, Kawano decided the match by engaging Gouki's Super Art Lv.2 "Kuzeten Kaloha" against his opponent's "Drive Rush". Kawano was able to outplay Jonny to win the match 3-0, marking the team's opening round victory in the tournament.

Post-match interview with Gachi-kun

Q1: How do you feel about your game?

Gachi-kun: In the end, we won the match 2-1, but we gave our opponents many chances to turn the tables on us because we were in a hurry in the first game.

PR TIMES

Q2: How did you decide on the order for this game?

Gachi-kun: Until yesterday, we had planned for "YHC-Mochi" to play in the general match. However, I changed the order this morning, because I was worried about the deejay of "YAMAGUCHI. Kawano seemed more confident in his skills against Ed and Gouki, so I gave him the general match.

PR TIMES

Q3: Last season may have been a bitter experience for you, but what are your plans for this year?

Gachi-kun: To be honest, last year, "Street Fighter 6" had just been released, and I was not able to get off to a good start because I was not sure which character to use. We are confident in our strength when the game has been conquered, and this year we have seen good results in the most recent tournaments, so all of us are confident going into the SF League.

PR TIMES

Q4: Lastly, what are your intentions for the next round?

Gachikun: It's hard to say for sure since the season has just started, but I think our next match against "Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto" will be a climax, and we want to let them know how scary we are.

MATCH 3: [AWAY] Saishunkan Sol Kumamoto vs FUKUSHIMA IBUSHIGIN [HOME

Spearhead Game:Higuchi(Guile)(Classic) vs Sasamo(Ed)(Classic)

In the spearhead match, Higuchi, who showed excellent front-to-back control of his opponent, took the first BATTLE by showing excellent SA gauge control. However, "Sasamo" was not to be outdone, and took back the BATTLE with a combo attack from Ed's "Psycho Cannon," and the match went to a full set of 1-1. Sasamo had many chances to get around Guile's attacks, but he was unable to make the final push, and HIGUCHI won the important first match.

Mid-round match: Umehara (Gouki)(Classic) vs Yanai (M.Bison)(Classic)

In the middle game, Umehara, who finally returned to the SF League stage, used his character Gouki's "Gou Hadouken" and "Zanku Hadouken" to set up the match well and beat Yanai's M.Bison Bison, used by "Yanai", to the edge of the screen to take the first BATTLE. In the 2nd BATTLE, Yanai began to fight back, using his "Overdrive Psycho Crusher Attack" and M.Bison's high attack power to defeat his opponent. In the final round of the 3rd BATTLE, Umehara was trapped at the edge of the screen with little energy left, but at the critical moment, he used Gouki's Critical Art "Shunkokushin" to complete a come-from-behind victory, and the dramatic return of the king had the viewers in the most excited mood of the day. The dramatic return of the King brought the most excitement of the day to the audience.

General Game: Fudo (Ed)(Classic) vs Sho (Gouki)(Classic)

In the general match, "Sho" showed a brilliant move and "Fudo" was on the defensive, but "Sho" was able to get around Ed's checks and won two battles in a row. Fudo" was trapped, but he succeeded in turning the tide after the interval, winning two battles in a row and taking the match to a full set. However, "Fudo" showed amazing tenacity, but "Sho" finished the match with a majestic front walk and throw to win the first match in the team's first-ever tournament.

Overtime: Fudo (Ed) (Classic) vs Sho (Gouki) (Classic)

In the extra round, the same pairing as in the general match was used. Fudo showed a variety of responses to Gouki's "Hyakki Attack," immediately taking advantage of the mistakes he made in the general match, and continued to show changes in his moves to take the lead. Fudo, who remained calm and kept checking the situation until the very end, won the match, taking revenge for the round of the tournament and bringing home the victory for his team.

Post-match interview with Fudo

Q1: In the general match, you came out of the interval to catch up with your teammates.

Fudo: I had prepared for the Gouki match very well, so I didn't have any advice beforehand. I took care of the fact that I had been hit by many "Hyakki Goukai" during the match and that I had been knocked down at the edge of the screen before the next battle. I was also advised that I might not have enough bullets, so I made adjustments in the match. Umehara, a Gouki user, gave me a lot of advice on the differences between normal practice and actual matches and the mistakes I might make.

PR TIMES

Q2: What is the atmosphere like at the team's regular practice sessions?

Fudo: Usually, my teammates and I try to ask each other questions rather than give each other advice. For example, "HIGUCHI" asked me, "Why don't you do psycho judo in the wake attack? " and I received questions like "Why don't you do psycho judo? During a match, if I listen to everyone's advice, my axis becomes blurred, so I try to focus on one direction and listen to their advice. Since we are strong team members, there is a sense of trust that if we express our opinions, it will lead to improvement, so I think we are a team that is usually easy to express our opinions.

PR TIMES

Q3: How was your participation in the overtime game decided?

Fudo: First of all, "Umehara" strongly told me, "Fudo is good. Also, although I lost the general match, I felt that I was getting better, so I decided to go by myself. And even if someone other than myself had played, it would have been difficult to predict whether I would win or lose against "Sho," who would have played in the general match, so I played as the one who could calculate at least a 50% chance of winning the game.

PR TIMES

Q4: Lastly, what are your thoughts on the next round?

Fudo: My team will be on the away side for two consecutive games, and I was afraid that if we didn't get any points at all, the tension would drop. We won today and gained 25 points, so if we can gain points in the next round against the "Good 8 Squad," we will be able to see the top of the ranking, so we want to earn points.
