Canon has announced that it will exhibit at the " Tokyo Game Show 2026 " (hereinafter "TGS2026"), to be held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17, 2026, through Monday, September 21, 2026 (a national holiday).
The company will feature areas where visitors can experience Canon’s technologies firsthand, including game streaming, 3D data generation, and VR viewing.

The booth will showcase the iOS app “Live Switcher Mobile Ver 1.5.0” for game streamers, as well as “Dual Pixel 3D,” a technology that generates 3D data from captured photos.
Game Streaming Experience Area
“Live Switcher Mobile Ver. 1.5.0,” an iOS app evolved through collaboration with popular game streamers, is now available.
With this update, users can freely zoom in and out and move wipes between gameplay footage and camera footage, and the app now supports trimming camera footage.
This allows for layouts and effects tailored to each streamer’s individual style.
A new “Audio Tab” has also been added, allowing users to manage the volume of all video sources from a single screen, improving usability during streams.
At the booth, visitors can experience game streaming using “Live Switcher Mobile Ver. 1.5.0” while actually playing games.
3D Data Generation Experience Corner
You can experience “Dual Pixel 3D,” a technology that captures subjects provided at the venue using the “EOS R SYSTEM” and generates 3D data on the spot.
This 3D rendering technology utilizes Canon’s proprietary high-speed, high-precision AF technology, “Dual Pixel CMOS AF.”
You can freely view the generated 3D models from various angles.
VR Viewing Experience Area
You can watch high-quality 3D footage captured with the “EOS VR SYSTEM” from inside a race car that competed in the “ENEOS Super Taikyu Series 2026 Empowered by BRIDGESTONE, Round 3” using VR goggles.
You can experience a sense of immersion as if you’ve stepped into the world of racing, along with the thrill of speeding through the course from the driver’s perspective.
