RTSはNODWIN Gamingから格闘ゲームのeスポーツ世界大会「Evo」を買収したことを明らかにした。
RTSは2025年9月にサウジアラビアの「Qiddiya Investment Company」に買収されていたため、これによってEvoはQiddiya傘下になる。

RTSがNODWIN Gamingから対戦型格闘ゲームのeスポーツ世界大会「Evo」を買収したことが明らかになった。
RTSは2025年9月にサウジアラビアの「Qiddiya Investment Company」に買収されていたため、これによりEvoは「Qiddiya Investment Company」の傘下となる。
「Qiddiya Investment Company」は娯楽メガプロジェクトでありサウジアラビアの国家プロジェクトでもある「Qiddiya City」を牽引。
同プロジェクトは様々な分野に取り組んでいるが、世界初のゲーム・eスポーツ特区の設立にも意欲を見せている。
今回の発表に伴い、「Evo」は声明を発表。
RTSの所有権の下でも「Evo」の伝統や価値観、アイデンティティは変わらないとしている。
世界最大ともいわれる格闘ゲーム大会「Evo」の運営体制の変更。
今後、同大会がどのような展開を迎えるのか注目したい。
