Cero announces closure following state of emergency declaration
News

The Computer Entertainment Rating Organization (CERO), a non-profit organization, has announced that it will suspend all operations from Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to Wednesday, May 6, 2020, following the government's declaration of a state of emergency regarding COVID-19.

Due to the method, it is impossible to conduct judging from home.

Since CERO uses a system in which external examiners visit the office to conduct examinations, it is not possible for staff members or examiners to conduct examinations at home.
The office will also be closed during the suspension period, so it has announced that it will not be able to receive mail, courier services, or other judging materials.

The resumption of operations after Thursday, May 7, 2020 will be announced on the website.
This may affect the release dates of game titles currently under review or awaiting review.
