Behaviour Interactive Inc. has announced that 2v8 Mode will return to the asymmetrical multiplayer horror game Dead by Daylight (hereafter, DbD) from April 28, 2026, to May 19, 2026.
Along with this, the Attack On Titan Collection will be featured as part of the 2v8 Mode event, with new outfits scheduled to be added.
The Long-Awaited 2v8 Mode Returns to DbD in a Collaboration With Attack On Titan!
2v8 Mode returns to DbD for a limited time from April 28, 2026, to May 19, 2026, in a collaboration with Attack On Titan!
In conjunction with the collaboration, a lobby background themed after Attack On Titan will reappear.
Furthermore, it has been confirmed that new outfits will be added to the Attack On Titan Collection.
Cleaning Levi, Mikasa’s Black Regiment Uniform, and More Arrive
The Attack On Titan collection, which debuted in 2022 and featured 10 outfits in total, will be featured as part of the 2v8 Mode event.
This time, Attack On Titan Legendary Outfits such as the Cleaning Levi outfit for Jake Park and the Mikasa's Black Regiment Uniform outfit for Yui Kimura have been added!
The Attack On Titan Legendary Outfits include the following:
Killers
- The Trapper: Attack Titan
Survivors
- Jake Park: Cleaning Levi
- Yui Kimura: Mikasa's Dark Uniform
- Thalita Lyra: Sasha's Uniform
- Renato Lyra, Adam Francis, Mikaela Reid, and Haddie Kaur: Queen's Ball Attire Gown
- Feng Min: Heart of Freedom Uniform
Updates Addressing 2v8 Mode Gameplay
Based on player feedback and in-game data, the balance and gameplay of 2v8 Mode have been adjusted.
This time, adjustments have been implemented for two Killer characters as follows:
- The Deathslinger: Penalties during reloading or missed shots have been reduced
- The Oni: Adjusted so that putting a Survivor into the downing state while Demon Mode is active will cause more duration to be lost
Furthermore, an update to the Cage mechanics has been implemented.
When a Cage is relocated, the bleed-out timer will pause for a certain period, making rescue coordination between Survivors easier.
Additionally, the new maps Temple of Purgation and Ironworks of Misery have been added!
Adjustments have also been made to these two new maps to suit the 2v8 Mode gameplay environment.
Special Rewards Can Be Obtained by Clearing a Series of Quests!
