Canadian game developer and distributor Behaviour Interactive Inc. has announced that Dead by Daylight (DbD), the asymmetrical competitive multiplayer horror game by Canadian game developer and distributor Behaviour Interactive Inc. Alan Wake, the protagonist of the " Alan Wake " series of horror games, will appear as a new survivor in DbD. The PTB for this collaborative chapter will be available on Steam starting Wednesday, January 10, 2024.

"Blessing: Illumination" creates a totem of blessing and displays the aura of the generator and chest on the map to all survivors in the vicinity. Lighting the totem of grace also increases the speed of the totem's cleansing and purification.

"Deadline"

Deadline" is triggered when injured and increases the frequency of skill checks for healing and generator repair. In the unlikely event that a skill check is failed, the speed reduction penalty is halved.

The new survivor, "Alan Wake," has the features of Ilkka Villi, the actor who plays Alan in the live-action scenes, and is voiced by Matthew Porretta who has handled Alan's lines throughout the series. The original dialogue for the collaborative chapter is also included in the game, so you can become Alan as a survivor and face new challenges in the misty forest!

Announcing the new "Modifier" feature

With the release of the "Alan Wake" chapter, a new feature called " Modifier " will be implemented in DbD. The new "Modifier" feature will add new tweaks to the existing match format, offering a different and exciting experience. Lights Out" will be available for a limited time as the first of the new "Modifier" features, and when "Lights Out" is applied, players will not be able to use items, specifications, etc. The "Lights Out" modifier will be implemented within the next few weeks, so stay tuned for more information.
