HoYoverse's open-world RPG Genshin Impact and Discovery Channel have announced a collaboration!
In addition to releasing a documentary video, they have revealed that offline events will be held in various locations around the world.

Short Film Collaborating Genshin Impact and Discovery Channel Released

A collaboration between the open-world RPG Genshin Impact and the American documentary channel Discovery Channel has been confirmed!
They have released an 8-minute documentary video, Voices of Nature.

In the video, famous actors, explorers, and environmental activists such as Kit Harington and Lily Cole participate as the voices of nature.
The video is crafted to make viewers feel the beauty and might of nature, as well as the fragility that exists within its exquisite balance.

At the end of the video, data is also shared, such as "12 million tons of plastic are dumped into the ocean every year, and it is expected to exceed the weight of all marine fish by 2050," "Currently, approximately 3.6 billion people face risks such as drought, floods, heatwaves, extreme weather, and rising sea levels," and "In 2022, the world is losing primary forests equivalent to 11 soccer fields every minute."
This creates a sense of urgency that we must once again take action regarding awareness and initiatives for nature conservation.

The audio in the video is in English, but Japanese can be selected from the YouTube subtitle function.

Starting Saturday, March 16, 2024, the online web event Discover Nature, Following the Traces is scheduled to be held.
