Geo Store Corporation has announced that it will begin selling retro games at 97 Geo Shops nationwide in Japan, following the preliminary resumption of trade-ins since December 2025.
Sales of game software and peripherals started gradually on Monday, February 16, 2026, followed by game consoles starting Friday, February 20, 2026.

Geo OnlineIt has been announced that sales of retro games will gradually begin at 97 Geo Shops nationwide in Japan.
Since the resumption of trade-ins in December, popular models collected from across the country such as Super Famicom, Game Boy, PlayStation, and PlayStation Portable will be sold at accessible prices.

An abundant lineup centered on masterpieces will be deployed, including nationally popular series such as Pokémon, Final Fantasy, and Dragon Quest, as well as Nintendo titles like Mario and Kirby.
In addition to software stock of 300 to 400 items per store, game consoles and peripherals will also be handled, providing a sales floor where people of all generations can reunite with those nostalgic games they played back then.
All game consoles undergo power-on confirmation and software reading confirmation at the Geo Group's flagship logistics base, the Chubu Logistics Center, and are provided in a condition where they can be played immediately with peace of mind.
Sales will first begin at 97 stores nationwide in Japan, and the company stated that they will consider gradually expanding the number of participating stores while monitoring market trends and user needs.

The sales schedule for the rollout is as follows:
- Game software and peripherals: Monday, February 16, 2026
- Game consoles: Gradually from Friday, February 20, 2026
