KLab Inc. announced the development of a completely new hybrid casual game for the entire world, excluding mainland China, within its Fiscal Year Ending December 2024 First Quarter Financial Results Briefing Materials.
This is the first attempt at a hybrid casual game themed after the highly popular TV anime BLEACH, and it is reportedly being developed with the goal of creating a game that can be enjoyed more widely and easily.
It is scheduled to be released in two languages: Japanese and English.
The hybrid casual game genre, which has been growing worldwide since around 2020, is a business model that earns revenue from both in-app purchases and advertisements, and its market size in 2023 was said to be 2.1 billion dollars.
