Interview with the winner of GBVSR, Kasausagi!

- How do you feel now?
I have been playing Ferry since the day the previous title "Granblue Fantasy Versus" was released. This is the first time for me to win a tournament like this, so I'm really happy.
- What did you feel when you saw the remaining Top 8 players?
I was always anxious because I lacked confidence in myself and even if I was winning in normal ranked matches, I would think that I would lose on stage.

- What was the reason for your victory?
The luck of the draw with opponents. The player I thought I had a good chance of losing to had been eliminated in the middle of the tournament. I think that was a very important point.
- What made you decide to use Ferry?
To be honest... I picked it because it looked cool!

- I think fixing the character would be affected by the updates.
I'm clumsy, so the slight weakening of Ferry was better than using another character. "I can still win, so why not just use Felli? "...and now it is. lol.
- Including your participation in previous tournaments, did you have an eye on winning?
I wasn't particularly conscious of winning. My goal this time was to make the top 8 because I would be happy to receive a souvenir, but I didn't think I would win.

- How long have you been playing fighting games?
It's hard to define, but in the sense that I started playing fighting games in earnest, it may have started with a doujinshi game called "Touhou Nisoutensoku. Actually, I haven't played many major fighting games.
- How much practice have you been doing with GBVSR every day?
I don't even play it as a practice. GBVSR has a great lobby function, so I watch YouTube while waiting for my opponent... and before I know it, about 5 hours have passed (laughs).

- What is the appeal of GBVSR?
I think the main attraction is the character graphics created by Arc. I think the quality of the graphics is far superior to that of other fighting games. I would like people to try it, especially if they like GBF.
- What is your next goal?
Nothing in particular. I have good memories (laughs).
