"Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection" Release Date Set for March 13, 2026! Latest Trailer Revealed

The release date for the latest entry in the "Monster Hunter" RPG series, "Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection," was announced as Friday, March 13, 2026 at the "TGS2025 Capcom Online Program." New information on characters and more was also revealed alongside the release date announcement trailer.

The Latest Monster Hunter RPG, "Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection," Set For March 13, 2026 Release!

It was announced at the "TGS2025 Capcom Online Program" that the latest entry in the "Monster Hunter" RPG series, "Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection," will be released on March 13, 2026. In addition to the release date announcement trailer, new information about the story and characters was also revealed. It was also confirmed that the well-received turn-based command battle system from the previous game has been further evolved and carried over.

A Royal Felyne, whose family has served Azuria's royalty for generations. He's served as the protagonist's Palico since they were very young, and bears a deep devotion to the king and the Azurian royal family. Though he feels conflicted about disobeying the king and leaving Azuria, he eventually makes the decision to travel with the protagonist across the Northern Meridian and toward the Sacrosanctum.

A young man who's pleasant and agreeable with everyone. He has no family to speak of, and first met the protagonist while wandering the Azurian forest. Simon admires the protagonist's mother Amara, who founded the organization.

A brand-new member of the Rangers. She loves Poogies and other creatures, and is naturally attuned to the world around her. She's always accompanied by her Poogie, Pookie.

He has high expectations for the protagonist's ability to protect the country, as their sole Rathalos Rider.

The protagonist's mother and queen of Azuria. She founded the Rangers, with the aim of protecting and preservering the natural environment. In Azuria, she is known as the Turncoat Queen.

Introducing "Monsties:" Monsters That Form Bonds And Coexist With Riders!

"Monsties" are monsters that form a bond and coexist with the Riders, including the protagonist. They become reliable partners, assisting the Riders with various abilities during field movement and battles!

Because it's a Monstie from Vermeil, it looks different than those you can find in Azuria.
About Anjanath:
A belligerent Brute Wyvern that tries to sink its fangs into anything that moves. It is recognizable by the large membranes on its hips and the downy fur that runs along its back and tail. This monster condenses heat when enraged, causing a combustible substance to collect in a throat gland. The resulting mucus can then be expelled from its nose to react explosively with the air.

About Tobi-Kadachi:
This Fanged Wyvern flits from tree to tree in its forest canopy home. Its fur brushes against tree bark and the ground as it moves, building up static electricity. The length of a Tobi-Kadachi's tail is an excellent indicator of strength. Increased surface area means more contact points, which enable the monster to enter a charged state more easily.

About Legiana:
A Flying Wyvern renowned for its grace when traversing the skies. It flies smoothly even in heavy turbulence by expertly adjusting the specialized membranes on its wings and tail. Membranes on its head, wingarms, and tail are perfectly designed for flight. Fine adjustments alter altitude and airspeed, allowing this monster to deftly maneuver through the sky.

Honed Glavenus

It is stronger than the regular species, and its whole body is covered in armor. While some think it has been artificially enhanced, details are unknown.
About Glavenus:
A Brute Wyvern that brandishes its heavy blue tail like a blade. The combustible metals contained inside increase in temperature with every swing, sharpening the tail and making it red-hot. The friction from repeated attacks raises the tail's temperature until it glows red-hot. In this state, the tail becomes sharper and drastically deadlier. Some swings even cause flames to erupt.

A Skyscale Rathalos born ten years ago from egg quartz discovered in Blightstone Woods. As twins were prophesied to bring disaster, it was sentenced to death, but it fled Azuria with Amara's help. With its body now covered in armor, it's clearly the Monstie of some unknown Rider. It appears to stand in the way of the protagonist as they attempt to stop the fighting between the troops of Azuria and Vermeil.

Feral Monsters possess power that is more threatening than that of normal individuals. Some parts of their body have developed "Blightstones"—the stone-forming phenomenon occurring around the world—resulting in a "Crystal Encroachment." Attacking these Blightstone parts will provoke a powerful Backlash counterattack. Therefore, it is crucial to observe each monster's specific attack timing and adjust your tactics!

Feral Chatacabra

Using its long tongue, this Amphibian can grab objects and food from a distance. Its adhesive saliva can also be used to attach rocks and debris to its forelegs, enhancing its combat abilities. The well-developed forelegs are able to retain an adhesive saliva. When this monster is riled up, it will rub its forelegs in the dirt to affix stones and grit that increase its offensive capacity.
