Remastered "Onimusha 2," Releasing May 23, Is Now Available for Pre-order! Plus, Information on Great Bonuses and Campaigns

Capcom Co., Ltd. has set the release date for "Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny" as Friday, May 23, 2025.
Pre-orders for the digital version began on Thursday, February 13, 2025, and information on the characters that enrich the story, as well as game system enhancements that make it even easier to play, has also been released.

Digital Version Pre-orders Begin February 13!

This title is a remastered version of "Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny," which was released in 2002.
Jubei Yagyu's revenge story is revived with new elements while maintaining its original world and game system.

The release date for this remastered version of "Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny" has been set for Friday, May 23, 2025.
Additionally, pre-orders for the digital version began on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

They are four allies whose aspirations differ, yet they are connected in some way, sometimes clashing, and sometimes fighting together.

The protagonist Jubei and his four Allies have a "affinity value," which indicates the strength of their connection. By deepening this bond, such as by giving Allies their favorite gifts, they may join battles as allies or trigger unexpected events.

Since there are no visible parameters for affinity value, strategically enjoy seeing how your chosen actions influence your Allies' reactions.

In combat, you will fight Genma using various weapons such as swords, bows, spears, and hammers.

"Powerful Attacks"

Powerful attacks consume Magic Power and have various effects depending on the weapon, unleashing Magic Power.
Weapons can be upgraded up to three stages.

Characteristic Special Move: "Critical Attack"

"Critical Attack" is activated by attacking at the precise moment you receive an opponent's attack, allowing you to launch a powerful counterattack.
While challenging due to the need for precise timing (a wrong timing will result in taking damage), you'll definitely want to experience the satisfying slash when you pull it off.
Once you get used to the controls, try to chain multiple Critical Attacks!
After successfully executing an Critical Attack, you can unleash consecutive Critical Attack attacks by timing your attacks with nearby enemies, providing an exhilarating experience!

Soul Absorption

By absorbing souls released from defeated enemies, you can gain various effects such as equipment enhancements and recovery of health and Magic Power, depending on the soul's color (red, blue, yellow, or purple)!
By collecting five purple souls, you can transform into an "Onimusha" for a short period of invincibility.

In the original version, transforming into an Onimusha was automatic once five souls were collected, but in this title, you can freely control when to transform!
