PSSR is a key feature of the PS5 Pro that uses AI to create high-definition game visuals.
The PS5 system software update has evolved PSSR and expanded the supported titles.
This upgrade improves image reconstruction accuracy and motion stability.
Furthermore, developers can now more flexibly adjust the balance between performance and image quality on the PS5 Pro.
The new titles that will be supported include the following:
- SILENT HILL f
- Monster Hunter Wilds
- FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH
- Crimson Desert
SILENT HILL f

Thanks to PSSR, details such as individual blades of swaying grass and shadows cast on the ground are even sharper.
This allows for a deeper sense of immersion in the fog-shrouded 1960s Japan.

Fine details like hair, which often tended to be lost previously, are now properly depicted, and highly stable image processing has been achieved with further reduced flickering and afterimages.
The overall quality is higher than ever, allowing players to enjoy the game with peace of mind.
Supported Titles Will Continue to Increase! Can Be Turned Off via Settings if It Does Not Suit You

The evolved version of PSSR can be used by installing the PS5 system software update.
In addition to the already announced titles, Crimson Desert will be supported starting from its release on Friday, March 20, and Assassin's Creed Shadows and Cyberpunk 2077 are also scheduled to be supported via patches distributed within the coming weeks.
Furthermore, applying the evolved PSSR to all existing PS5 Pro-enhanced games is expected to improve image clarity and stability in many titles.
If any unexpected visual effects occur, it can be turned off at any time through the settings.
