The Pokémon Company has revealed the existence of Mega Lucario Z, a new Mega Evolved Pokémon featured in the paid additional content, "Mega Dimension," for Pokémon LEGENDS Z-A. Additionally, a new Extra Side Mission which allows players to obtain Mewtwo, has been available since Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

Lucario's new Mega Evolution, "Mega Lucario Z," which is distinct from the traditional "Mega Lucario," has been revealed! While Mega Lucario concentrates a vast aura into destructive power, Mega Lucario Z circulates the aura throughout its entire body, which improves its defensive power, speed, and flexibility. The aura can be used in various ways, such as spreading it thinly like a shield or concentrating it on specific parts of its body for attack.
The long fur and tail extending from its head and waist make it difficult to grasp the overall appearance of Mega Lucario Z as it moves fiercely and can confuse the opponent's vision in close combat. Parts of its body, such as the backs of its hands and shins, are hardened with Steel-type energy, and by precisely exerting force, it exhibits striking power beyond its appearance.
Furthermore, Mega Evolutions with the Z designation are said to shorten the charge time from instruction to move activation. However, because the Mega Energy consumption is intense and they are not suited for prolonged battles, a speedy, decisive battle strategy is required.
The Extra Side Mission to Obtain Mewtwo Is Now Available!
The Extra Side Mission to obtain Mewtwo has been available since Tuesday, December 2, 2025. You can obtain Mewtwo by receiving "Mewtwonite X" and "Mewtwonite Y" via Mystery Gift and visiting the deepest part of Lysandre Labs.
