First Character from Another Company's IP Joins a Numbered Title

While there have been cases where Street Fighter characters have collaborated and fought with other companies' IPs, such as in the Versus series like "MARVEL VS. CAPCOM" and "CAPCOM VS. SNK," or with Akuma joining Bandai Namco's "Tekken 7," this is the first time a character from another company's IP has been included in a numbered title in the Street Fighter series.

This is arguably a monumental piece of news in the history of fighting games. Furthermore, the new "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" is scheduled for release in 2025, making it the first new "Fatal Fury" title in 26 years, and the fighting game community is sure to be ecstatic.
While this announcement only included a reveal trailer, the gameplay trailers that will be announced are highly anticipated. Be sure to check out the M. Bison trailer, which will be released on YouTube at 12:00 AM JST on June 9.
