Cygames, Inc. (hereinafter Cygames) announced that it will launch a new league, the Shadowverse Premier Series, for the next-generation smartphone card game Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond (hereinafter Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond).
In preparation for the league opening, public recruitment for teams to fill a total of 6 slots started on Thursday, February 12, 2026.
As a venue intended to continuously produce star players, player recruitment open to all users is also planned.

Cygames revealed the establishment of the new league, the Shadowverse Premier Series, scheduled to open in July 2026.
This league aims to deliver the "fun of supporting a team" through watching matches, while becoming a place where the star teams and star players that fans look up to are born one after another.
In addition to the traditional competitive scene, matches with an audience and events where fans and players can directly interact will be held regularly.
By strengthening the dissemination of information focused on teams and individual players, the league will be constructed to present new value unique to the title.
Recruiting Participating Teams and Players!
With the launch of this league, public recruitment is now open for teams wishing to participate.
The application period runs until 11:59 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026.
The first year is scheduled to operate with a 6-team system, and any team can apply as long as they meet the application requirements, regardless of past professional league participation records.
Furthermore, player recruitment that all users can enter, not limited to current professional players, is planned.
By creating an environment where anyone can earn the right to challenge becoming a professional player, the league will proceed with the discovery of star players who will lead the next generation.

The schedule until the league opening is as follows:
- Team Recruitment Period: From Thursday, February 12, 2026, until 11:59 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026
- Participating Team Notification: Until Tuesday, March 3, 2026 (Scheduled)
- Announcement of Participating Teams and Notice of Player Recruitment Information: Thursday, March 5, 2026 (Scheduled)
- Acceptance Period for Player Aspiration Forms: From Thursday, March 5, 2026, until 11:59 PM on Sunday, March 22, 2026 (Scheduled)
- Player Selection Period: March to late June 2026 (Scheduled)
- League Opening: July 2026 (Scheduled)
