The release date for the final Year 3 additional character for Street Fighter 6 (hereafter SF6), Ingrid, has been set for Thursday, May 28, 2026!
Ahead of her arrival, a gameplay trailer has been released.
Potentially Cosmic-Scale Pretty Girl Ingrid Joins the Fray! Trailer Also Released!
Ingrid leaves a lasting impression with the contrast between her mysterious dialogue and her cute visuals.
She has a unique background, having first appeared in Capcom Fighting Evolution released in 2004.
This marks her first time appearing as a playable character in a fighting game in about 20 years, since Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper was released in 2006.
This self-proclaimed “extradimensional woman of mystery” is finally joining SF6.
She is a technical character whose fighting style centers on the power of the sun and the management of Sun Crests.

PR TIMES
Introduction of Ingrid's Moves
Sun Shot
PR TIMESA projectile that fires a light bullet forward.
It has the property of stopping in place briefly before accelerating, and its projectile speed and trajectory change depending on the button used and the charging time.
The Overdrive version (hereafter OD version) has enhanced hit count and power, and it seems that by combining it with the normal version, it will be possible to perform attacks with high screen control.
Sun Crests
PR TIMESAn enhancement mechanic that can be stocked up to four times.
PR TIMES
It can be charged by using moves such as the beam attack Sun Flare, and the performance of various moves is improved by consuming the stock.
While it is a simple system, it requires judgment on whether to charge or use the stock, so the design makes it easy for differences in skill to emerge between players.
Solar Burst
PR TIMESA move that fires a light beam from the air toward the ground, reminiscent of the sun.
Similar to Sun Flare, you can charge Sun Crests with the light version in the air and enhance performance by consuming stock with other strengths.
Sun Rise
PR TIMESA multi-functional launch move with separate uses for anti-air, combos, and follow-up attacks.
The OD version is difficult to punish even if blocked, and it can also be canceled into Super Arts.
It is expected to play an active role in both offense and defense.
Sun Veil
PR TIMES
A counter move that responds not only to strikes but also to projectiles.
However, it cannot respond to Super Arts or multi-hit attacks, so identifying the right timing to use it will be important.
Vanishing Sun
PR TIMESA teleportation move whose behavior changes based on forward, down, and back inputs.
It offers many options, such as pressure continuation, surprise attacks, and feints, and will likely function as an element that expands the range of neutral play.
Introduction of Ingrid's Super Arts
Shining Sun
PR TIMESThe Level 1 Super Art is a continuous attack with invincibility.
It can also be enhanced by consuming one Sun Crest.
PR TIMESIf you have multiple stocks, you can further power up by holding down the button to consume more Sun Crests.
Order of the Sun
PR TIMES
The Level 2 Super Art is a set-play type move that rains down light bullets from the sky.
Similarly, if you have Sun Crest stocks, you can power up by continuing to hold the button after activation.
Since you can move freely after firing the move, you can develop a powerful offense depending on the situation.
Cosmic Ray
PR TIMES
The Level 3 Super Art is a high-power move that generates an attack directly at the opponent's position.
The visual presentation has been polished for high impact.
Ingrid's Outfit 2
PR TIMES
Ingrid's Outfit 2 is a purple schoolgirl uniform based on her appearance in Capcom Fighting Evolution.
It can be obtained by maximizing your bond with her in World Tour or by purchasing it with Fighter Coins from the shop.
Additionally, simultaneously with the addition of the final Year 3 character, Outfit 3 for all four characters included in the Ultimate Pass will also be released.

https://t.co/JRRQDEMpgY

Following Alex from last time, Ingrid's theme song is also a special version with vocals!
The song title is Cosmic Scale Pretty.
The phrase “Noja Noja Noja” (the characteristic sentence ending used by Ingrid in the Japanese version) is incredibly catchy.
Also, the vocals are performed by Suzuki Mob. (@MMGJP_mob).
The selection of Suzuki Mob., who is also an enthusiastic SF6 player who participated in EVO Japan 2025, makes perfect sense.
This song is also used in the gameplay trailer for Ingrid released today, so be sure to check it out.
