Capcom Co., Ltd. has announced that production has begun on a live-action "Street Fighter" movie, based on the popular fighting game series "Street Fighter," in a co-venture with Legendary Entertainment LLC. The cast members for the main characters, Ken, Ryu, and Chun-Li, have also been announced.

When you think of "Street Fighter," you think of the fighting game series that has sold over 57 million units worldwide. Now, "Street Fighter" is being made into a live-action movie! Just imagining the playable characters we've grown to love appearing on the big screen and unleashing their special moves is an exciting thought.
The co-venture partner, Legendary Entertainment, has been involved in multiple live-action movies based on games, and the total worldwide box office revenue of the works they have been involved in has reached approximately 21 billion dollars.
