High-Speed Tetris Action! A Collaboration with “F-ZERO 99”!

The 41st MAXIMUS CUP will be a special collaboration event with F-ZERO 99, titled “F-ZERO 99 Collaboration Festival!”
“F-ZERO 99” is an online battle-royale racing title that launched on September 15, 2023.
Many fans will already recognize it as a modern evolution of the legendary 1990 Super Famicom classic “F-ZERO” — now reborn as a 99-player high-speed online battle experience!

Just like Tetris 99, “F-ZERO 99” is a Nintendo Switch Online member-exclusive title.
So if you have an NSO membership, you can jump in and play at no additional cost!
Meaning anyone who can join the MAXIMUS CUPcan also hop into “F-ZERO 99” immediately.
While high-speed racing games aren’t everyone’s specialty, a useful new feature — the “Handle Assist”, which automatically helps prevent you from crashing into walls — was added in the March update, making the game more beginner-friendly.

Earn 100 Event Points and Get the Theme Automatically!

As always, during the event period, if you play Tetris 99 mode and collect 100 event points, you will automatically receive the special “F-ZERO 99” theme.
If you score 1st place — the coveted “Tet1” — you instantly earn 100 points and unlock the theme!
2nd place earns 70 points, 3rd gets 50, 4th–10th get 40, 11th–30th get 30… all the way down to 91st–99th place, which still awards 1 point.
So even if you’re not confident, just play 100 times and you’re guaranteed to get the theme. Persistence pays off!
And because this is a collaboration with the high-speed “F-ZERO 99,” you might find matches in “Tetris 99” moving at high speed too… so get ready and stay focused!
