The 42nd MAXIMUS CUP is the "Splatoon 3" collaboration event, the Splatoon 3 Edition Moreover, the motif is Side Order!
Many people have likely already played and cleared it, but "Side Order" is the second wave of additional content for the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, which was released on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
You play as "Agent 8" in the color-lost Spire of Order, aiming for the top floor alongside "Peal" and "Marina" of Off the Hook, and the Octoling "Acht."

The Special Theme Features Color Chip-Style Tetriminos!
In this MAXIMUS CUP, all players can receive the "Splatoon 3" special theme by playing the "Tetris 99" mode and accumulating 100 Event Points during the event period.
Achieving 1st place earns 100 points at once! Players receive 70 points for 2nd place, 50 points for 3rd, 40 points for 4th-10th, and 30 points for 11th-30th, and so on.
Players even get 1 point for ranking 91st-99th, so they can guarantee getting the theme if they play at least 100 times. Keep playing without giving up!

The grand Splatfest will last an extensive 72 hours—longer than usual Splatfests—and the start is now just one month away!

Icons for "Deep Cut," "Squid Sisters," and "Off the Hook", who are supporting the Grand Festival, will be distributed weekly. Additionally, eight types of icon parts have already begun distribution as the first wave.
The lineup will change weekly, and the first wave will run until Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 9:59 AM, so don't forget to exchange them!
