Xbox has announced an update to Game Pass. The new plans include " Essential," " Premium," and " Ultimate" plans.
Xbox Game Pass Updated with Three New Plans
Xbox WireMicrosoft's Xbox announced an update to Game Pass. Three new plans are now available.
Each plan includes an expanded game library with Windows PC titles, unlimited cloud gaming, in-game rewards including Riatt Games titles, and an upgraded "Xbox Rewards" experience.
With this update, existing Game Pass members will see the following changes
- Game Pass Core: Auto-switch to Essential
- Game Pass Standard: automatically switches to Premium
- Game Pass Ultimate: No change

Xbox Game Pass Essential costs 850 yen per month (tax included). It includes a catalog of more than 50 carefully selected games playable on consoles and Windows PCs, including "Hades," "Cities: Skylines - Remastered," "Stardew Valley" and "Warhammer 40,000: Darktide".
In-game rewards are also available for popular titles such as "League of Legends," "Call of Duty: Warzone," and "Overwatch 2. Play games and earn up to 25,000 Microsoft Rewards points per year!

Xbox Game Pass Premium is available for 1,300 yen per month (tax included). More than 200 games, including both major titles and hidden classics, are available.
The library includes timeless classics such as "Minecraft," "Forza Horizon 5," and "Grand Theft Auto V," which can be played on a Windows PC. In addition, popular titles such as "Diablo IV" and "Hogwarts Legacy" will be available, as well as new Xbox titles coming to market within a year of their release.
Microsoft Rewards offers up to 50,000 points per year, double points for games and add-ons, and 5% back in points for qualifying titles and add-ons in the library.

The top-of-the-line Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan costs ¥2,750/month (tax included). It allows users to freely play games from a vast catalog of more than 400 games, including upcoming titles such as "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7," "High on Life 2," "Keeper," "NINJA GAIDEN 4" and "The Outer Worlds 2" can also be played from the day of release.
