GIGABYTE, a Taiwan-based company, will release two new curved gaming monitor models in late June 2020.
The monitors to be released are the " GIGABYTE G27QC " and the " GIGABYTE G27FC ".
The former is the higher-end model and boasts a resolution of 2560 x 1440 (QHD), while the latter has a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD).
Both models feature 27-inch 1500R curved monitors, which provide a highly immersive experience in games, movies, and videos.
The performance of the gaming monitor is impeccable, with a response time of 1ms and a refresh rate of 165Hz, 21Hz higher than the typical 144Hz.
The monitor is equipped with a full range of features that give it an edge in gaming, including " Aim Stabilizer," which reduces blurring when shooting, and " Black Equalizer," which improves visibility in dark areas.
Low-priced but high-spec monitor
High resolution and high immersion thanks to the curved monitor
Monitors with 1500R curvature provide a wider field of view compared to flat panels, allowing for a more immersive game play experience.
VA panels have a much higher contrast ratio than TN or IPS, allowing users to enjoy cinematic images with a wider dynamic range.
This is why we recommend using VA panels not only for games, but also for movies and films.
165Hz drive and 1ms fast response time
The monitor boasts a refresh rate of 165Hz, slightly higher than the 144Hz of most gaming monitors, and a response time of 1ms.
It also supports AMD FreeSync Premium, which supports low frame rate compensation and compensates to produce a refresh rate of at least 120Hz at FHD resolutions.
The monitor is flicker-free with an extremely smooth image, which helps to reduce eye strain.
Ergonomic Design
This product is designed based on human ergonomics and features a dedicated stand.
The height adjustment moves up to 130mm, and the tilt can be adjusted in a wide range from -5° to +20°.
The stand is equipped with a 100x100mm VESA mount, so it can be used as needed.
Revolutionary "OSD SIDEKICK" monitor function
In most cases, the brightness, contrast, and preset settings of a monitor are made using the buttons on the monitor.
However, " OSD SIDEKICK," one of the monitor's built-in functions, allows you to adjust the display using the keyboard and mouse.
Not only does this allow you to skip the steps of calling up the settings screen with the buttons, but it also makes operation much easier as it is intuitive using the mouse.
