ASUS has announced two new additions from its gaming brand, ROG (Republic of Gamers): the 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor, ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS, and the 26.5-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor, ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES.
They will be released sequentially starting Friday, July 24, 2026, at consumer electronics retailers and e-commerce sites across Japan.

Two QD-OLED Gaming Monitors Arrive from ROG!
ROG revealed two new monitors: the 34-inch ultrawide QD-OLED gaming monitor, ROG Strix OLED XG34WCDMS, and the 26.5-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor, ROG Strix OLED XG27AQDMES!
Both models offer vibrant colors and deep black performance, supporting high refresh rates.

It achieves a maximum refresh rate of 280Hz and a rapid 0.03ms (GTG) response time, delivering vivid, immersive visuals backed by a 99% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, a peak brightness of 1,300 cd/m2, and a 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio.
"ROG RGB Stripe Layout Technology" to Suppress Text Fringing
It incorporates proprietary ROG RGB Stripe Layout Technology, which suppresses the text fringing commonly found in standard OLED subpixel layouts.
This provides sharp, accurate visibility not only during gaming, but also for text work and image editing.
"ASUS OLED Care Pro" to Prevent Panel Burn-In
The newly adopted BlackShield protective film improves scratch resistance by approximately 2.5 times compared to previous-generation QD-OLED panels, while also improving black level representation in bright environments by about 40%.
As a measure against panel burn-in, it features ASUS OLED Care Pro, which includes a Neo Proximity Sensor that detects when the user steps away and automatically blanks the screen.
