Xiaomi Corporation held a new product launch event on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
They announced the rollout of the latest flagship model Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

Flagship Model Xiaomi 14 Ultra Announced
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra announced at the event is a flagship model that brings together the best of Xiaomi's technology.
The standout feature is the quad 50-megapixel camera system developed jointly with Leica.
Four lenses arranged in a circular array cover a wide range of focal lengths, producing professional-grade images such as those captured with the following:
- Approx. 12mm ultra-wide-angle lens
- Approx. 23mm wide-angle lens
- Approx. 75mm floating telephoto lens
- Approx. 120mm periscope lens
These lenses work together to create images that look like they were taken with a professional camera.
The street snap function includes a UI that mimics a rangefinder, and high-speed shooting at approximately 0.7 seconds ensures you never miss a photo opportunity.
The Master Portrait function, developed using technology refined over years of experience, adapts to various lighting environments to capture portraits with textures and colors as seen by the naked eye.
Since the device excels at still photography, its video capabilities are equally impressive.
It supports 8K and 4K recording at 120fps, and Dolby Vision HDR video recording is also supported.
While these functions are standard on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, attaching the separately sold Photography Kit transforms it into an authentic camera.
The kit is packed with expansion features such as a two-stage shutter, a zoom lever for easy focal length switching, and a custom dial for adjusting exposure and aperture.
The grip, which assists with steady shooting, also houses a 1,500mAh battery for maximum efficiency.

While the top-tier camera performance is the main selling point for the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the other hardware specifications have not been overlooked.
The display features WQHD+ (3,200×1,440) resolution and 120Hz LTPO technology.
It also reduces eye strain with a 50% reduction in blue light, a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, and multi-level brightness adjustment.
Additionally, the built-in Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform chipset has improved CPU performance by 32% and GPU performance by 34% compared to the previous generation.
Power efficiency has also been significantly enhanced, providing benefits across daily tasks like calls and messaging, as well as hobbies like gaming and watching videos.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which boasts many other high-end features, is scheduled to be released on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
