The "ASIA esports EXPO 2026," which will be held in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, on Saturday, March 21, and Sunday, March 22, 2026, is a comprehensive esports event being held for the second time.
At this event, a selection tournament will be held under the approval of the Japan esports Union (JeSU) to choose Japan's representatives for the international eFootball tournament.
One player will be selected from the home console division and one player from the mobile division to serve as the representatives.
The Japan national team, consisting of these two players, will compete in the Asian Games.
To participate in the selection tournament, players must win the online qualifiers scheduled for early 2026.
The top-ranking players in the home console and mobile qualifiers will earn the right to participate in the selection tournament.
