Overwatch features heroes of various races, nationalities, and origins, but the stars of the show are Japanese American characters such as Chirico, Genji, and Hanzo. A short story about Genji's visit to Tokyo was also published.

And! The two members of YOASOBI created a song based on the short story. A limited time collaboration event that will start on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (Japan time) was also announced!

The name of the new song, " Orion," was inspired by the relationship between Chirico, Genji, and Hanzo and the three stars of Orion's Belt. Ayase explained that the new song is based on a drum-based futuristic sound design, with a touch of Koto (Japanese harp) and J-Pop spirit, in consideration of the new map "Neon Junction.

Chirico's new skin design also received great acclaim from the two artists. The hair and items incorporating neon into Chirico's original charm are the very embodiment of cool and cute.
