PR TIMES"REJECT" participated in the "PUBG MOBILE WORLD CUP 2024" after earning a direct invite as the winning team of the "PUBG MOBILE GLOBAL OPEN." The tournament was divided into three stages and played out over three days.
PR TIMESOn Main Stage Day 1, they won 1 of 6 maps, advancing to Day 2 with a high rank of 3rd place.
Then, on Day 2, they won another map and impressively took over 1st place!
However, an eSports team from Brazil, "Alpha7 Esports," achieved strong results toward the end of Day 2, causing "REJECT" to drop to 2nd place by the day's end.
On Day 3, they pursued "Alpha7 Esports" but could not catch up, and the "PUBG MOBILE WORLD CUP 2024" concluded with a 2nd place finish.
Their final score was 124 points, which tied with 3rd place "Tianba," but they took 2nd place due to tie-breaker rules.
PR TIMESFurthermore, ReijiOcO of "REJECT," who scored high in metrics such as total damage, kill count, and survival time, was awarded the Tournament MVP and won a prize of $50,000 USD.
