Decorations resembling a base and a photo spot!

Tokyo Game Show 20 23 (TGS 2023), one of Japan's largest game festivals, will be held in September 2023! It is a big event that is also called a "festival of games" where various game companies announce their new titles and major updates. This time, I went undercover at the booth of the " Metal Gear " series, which had been rumored to be a part of this big event!

The "Metal Gear Solid" series is a genre of stealth action games in which the player must destroy, defeat, or trample targets while avoiding detection by the enemy. The Metal Gear Solid series has a long history and has been produced for a variety of game hardware. This time, the Metal Gear Solid series is now available in a single package that can be played on all of the same platforms! Players who have played Metal Gear in the past, as well as new players who have played the latest installment and are interested in the past titles, are very much looking forward to this package!

Upon arriving at the venue, we quickly made our way to the Metal Gear booth run by Konami Digital Entertainment. When I arrived at the booth, there were already many people at the Metal Gear booth!

This time, the Metal Gear booth was decorated to resemble an actual undercover mission, a fan favorite that resembled an undercover base. In the back of the room, there was an actor playing the role of an enemy soldier, on the lookout for enemy soldiers!

Inside the booth, there were exhibits on the history of past Metal Gear productions, replicas of actual guns that were used as models, battle suits, and other items. At the exit of the booth, there was a photo spot where visitors could take pictures while actually being a player in a cardboard box or holding a gun.

The Metal Gear booth was visited by many people of all ages, from teens to those in their 50s, and it was a visit that made us realize that this game has been loved for a long time by many different generations. I am sure that Metal Gear will continue to be supported by many players for a long time, and will be passed down from generation to generation as a wonderful work of art. Let's all play Metal Gear and become a BIG BOSS!
