On Sunday, September 28, 2025, a special " Game Walk " stage was held at the Tokyo Game Show 2025 at Makuhari Messe. I have reported on the stage where guides Mr. Iida, Mr. Masuda, and comedian Yasuko appeared and explained "METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER" while actually playing it!
Former Japan Self-Defense Force official Yasuko explains "METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER"!
"Game Walk " is a popular YouTube channel that offers a chance to play games with experts and discover new discoveries and ways to enjoy them through in-depth observation and appreciation of the world from a unique point of view.

Guest on stage was former Japan Self-Defense Force officer and comedian Yasuko (@yasuko_sma )! After serving in the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force for 2 years, she has now been a reserve Self-Defense Force officer for 7 years.
Our guides are the well-known Iida(@UraIida ) and Masuda(@game_masuda ).

This time, Yasuko, an expert in shooting, explained " METAL GEAR SOLID Δ: SNAKE EATER " from her point of view.
- First of all, are you curious about how to hold a gun in the air?

Yasuko: I am curious about it. I think it's great that you don't put your hand on the trigger (to prevent the gun from exploding). If I had my hand on the trigger, the instructor would beat me up.
- The basic crawl is the 4th crawl, isn't it? What is the 1st one like?

Yasuko: The 1st is lying down like this, and when it gets low, it becomes the 3rd. The floor of the game show is beautiful.
- When do you use the 4th crawl?

Yasuko: I use the 4th crawl when I am very close to the enemy, for example, under barbed wire or in the bushes.
There have been episodes where the bushes prickle during crawling, or where deer or human feces have fallen. The fifth moping, which puts the face to the ground, was explained to be used for clearing land mines or in emergency situations.
- What do they do with food in actual forest training?
Yasuko: We were told not to eat food that grows naturally. I was taught not to swallow it if it makes my tongue chatter. I have seen rangers skinning snakes.
- You can also change the face paint. Are there any good or bad ones?

Yasuko: Oh! Green, black, brown. It takes about 5 minutes to do it by myself. I think female JSDF officers are better at it than me.
From camouflage, we talked about Yasuko's today's outfit.

Yasuko: Today's Yasuko is dinosaur pattern! I came in fashionable camouflage (lol) And I came in New Balance!
- Which uniforms are similar to those of the Self-Defense Forces?

Yasuko: LEAF is very close! Japan is humid and overgrown, so DPM is also very SDF-like. In the fall, SQUARES blend in with the autumn leaves. Ski troops are white to blend in with the snow, and the Air and Maritime Self-Defense Force are blue. Only two are issued, and the rest are bought with one's own money.
The event was temporarily interrupted by equipment trouble, but the audience was thrilled when Yasuko performed the 5th crawl.
Also practicing how to put out a fire when your back is on fire!

Two people rumbling
Mr. Iida also joined in.
Also a version when the front side was burned.
It is indeed a celebrity who is accustomed to dealing with live broadcasts! The trouble was successfully repaired and we are back to game-sanpo again.
- What do you do when you encounter a suspicious person?
Yasuko: First, ask who it is. If they do not answer, point a gun at them. If he does not put down his weapon, shoot him in the leg. When they fall, restrain their hands from behind. If he has a weapon, kick it away. You should all try this when you are attacked!
- Is there a way to carry a fallen person?

Yasuko: (looking at Snake) This kind of movement is absolutely no good~! (laughs) I would use a restraining device to restrain the arms first. We look inside the mouth and check for bombs or poisons.
Yasuko is famous for her marksmanship. We talked about the gun Snake uses.
Yasuko: The XM16E1 is similar to the Type 89 rifle used by the Self-Defense Forces! In a watery area, the chamber is raised up to keep it dry. (omission) Shooting has ranks and good affects bonuses. Breathing is important to be good or bad. I have to hold my breath when I shoot, the recoil of the trigger, and recognize the habits of the gun to be good.
- Is there a difference between a handgun and a rifle?

Yasuko: They are totally different! A rifle has relatively little recoil because you catch it with your body. Handguns are two-handed, so you feel the recoil with a bang. I'm not a fan of the sound and power of handguns.

.
Yasuko explained snakes from an expert's point of view for about an hour, with plenty of fun episodes and practice.
- How was today's stage?

Yasuko: It was so much fun! I didn't think I would be crawling around here (laughs)! (Metal Gear connection) The KONAMI booth was amazing. (In connection with Metal Gear) The KONAMI booth was amazing. But I love Play Station because my office is Sony!
The stage was lively until the end, and the live game sampo was over. An archived stream is available on YouTube, so check it out if you missed it.
We will keep an eye on " Game Walk " to read games from various experts' viewpoints!
