The " Tokyo Game Show 2026," a four-day gaming festival, was held from Thursday, September 17, to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
In this report, we’ll take a look at the booth of " Oscar," an import distributor specializing in gadgets from overseas manufacturers!
"Oscar" Booth Report! Playing the Original PlayStation on the Retro Monitor "TRAVELLER ULW10"
The center of attention at the booth was UNICO’s 10-inch 4:3 LCD monitor, the “ TRAVELLER ULW10.”
Its design is inspired by Sony’s professional CRT monitor, the “PVM.”
In addition to HDMI for the latest devices, it supports VGA and RGBS.
At the booth, it was connected to the original PlayStation, allowing visitors to play “Ridge Racer.”
It’s refreshing to see such vivid colors on a monitor with a retro exterior.
A portable battery that lets you enjoy games, videos, and music
The “MOBILE BOY ULTRA” power bank, with the tagline: “Games, videos, and music—even charging—all in one device!”
This model features a 2.8-inch display, allowing you to enjoy entertainment such as games and music.
It is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that uses semi-solid-state technology.
The built-in games are nostalgic titles reminiscent of those found on 1980s game consoles.
A magnet is built into the back of the unit, allowing you to wirelessly charge your iPhone by attaching it to the back of the device.
It looked exactly like a game console but was actually a portable charger—it was one of the most impressive gadgets I saw at this year’s TGS.
A Lineup of Nostalgic New Gadgets
There are also plenty of other unique items, such as gadgets reminiscent of old handheld game consoles, the magnetic-switch leverless controller “MX10,” and the board game “AI GO,” where you can play against AI.
Every single one of these products is full of playful charm—just looking at them gets your heart racing.
That wraps up our report from the “Oscar” booth!
