Hiroki Takahashi, Yuji Kishi, Fumiko Orikasa, and Takayuki Nakayama took the stage to passionately discuss film highlights and behind-the-scenes production stories, while a wealth of new announcements was made, including the official Japanese-dubbed trailer and the second wave of the Japanese dub cast.
Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li Assemble at the Capcom Booth!
The movie Street Fighter: The Movie is slated for a worldwide simultaneous release on Friday, October 16, 2026.
With less than a month remaining before its theatrical premiere, Capcom hosted a special stage event at its TGS 2026 booth on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
Taking the stage were the Japanese dub cast members: Hiroki Takahashi (@H_I_R_O_K_I____) as Ryu, Yuji Kishi (@YujiKishi23red) as Ken, and Fumiko Orikasa (@fumiko_orikasa) as Chun-Li.
Because voice recording for video games is often conducted individually, this actually marked the first time the three voice actors gathered together in person.
In addition, Street Fighter 6 game director Takayuki Nakayama (@takaNakayama) also joined the stage.
Upon stepping onto the stage, Kishi immediately drew laughs from the audience by playing off the energetic floor atmosphere, quipping, “It's so noisy around here...” setting a delightfully relaxed tone for the entire event.
Reprising their roles from Street Fighter 6 for the movie, the three voice actors appeared on stage in outfits inspired by their respective characters.
Kishi went so far as bleaching his natural hair blonde to channel Ken, fulfilling a longstanding desire to cosplay.

Aside from characters created specifically for the film, all returning video game characters are voiced by their original Street Fighter 6 cast members. Nakayama noted, “I wanted players of the game to feel completely at home while watching.”

Japanese Dub Trailer and Major Announcements Revealed
Following the talk session, organizers unveiled a stream of brand-new information premiering for the first time.

The cast reacted with immense excitement to the action scenes, especially the recreation of iconic special moves!
Takahashi raved with enthusiasm, saying, “It's all about the special moves! The moves!”

For Ryu, a rare holographic sticker will be seeded at a rate of 1 in every 100 stickers.
