Tokyo Metro Co., Ltd. has announced the 3rd TOKYO METRO CUP OVERWATCH 2, an e-sports tournament featuring the team-based action game " Overwatch 2 ". The qualifying round will be held online on Sunday, December 1, 2024, and the main tournament will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at esports Style UENO in Ueno, Tokyo. The tournament is open to a wide range of players, from beginners to experts, and will be live-streamed on YouTube and public viewing is also planned.

PR TIMESThe " 3rd TOKYO METRO CUP OVERWATCH 2 " is an e-sports tournament in which 128 teams of 5~7 players per team will participate. The preliminary round will be held online on December 1, 2024 (Sunday), and the winning team from each block will advance to the main tournament. The main tournament will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at "esports Style UENO " in Ueno, Tokyo, and up to 60 spectators will be able to watch the tournament through public viewing. The tournament will be broadcast in real-time on the "Tokyo Metro e-Entertainment Channel" and will include live commentary by famous game distributors.
Those who wish to participate can enter the tournament for free, and the top finishers will receive luxurious prizes. Entries will be accepted from October 16 (Wed.) to November 17 (Sun.), 2024, and the management will support team organization via Discord.
