Dedova Day" was officially recognized as a memorial day by the Japan Anniversary Association in 2022. It was recognized because of the Japanese syllabary of October 18, which reads 10 (de), 10 (do), and 8 (ba).

Dedova Day" is a unique anniversary in Japan, and a message video was released by the DbD management team. In addition to the DbD management team, the video also includes comments from comedian Hidetaka Kano (@kano9x ) and streamer Risa Mitadera (@mitadera_risa ).
