This special video features footage of Tomoya Nakamura's first time playing FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH edited together with a performance of the theme song No Promises to Keep.
Cross-Industry Collaboration Between FF7R and THE FIRST TAKE Becomes a Reality
On Friday, March 8, 2024, a video was released on the Square Enix YouTube channel.
Appearing at the beginning of the video were Tomoya Nakamura, who also appeared in the previously released first-play experience video... and Loren Allred and Nobuo Uematsu!

The first half showcases previously unreleased footage from Tomoya Nakamura's first-play experience.

"No Promises to Keep" is based on FINAL FANTASY VII, which was released 27 years ago.
It is the theme song for Aerith, who has been an important character since then.
I wanted to give Aerith a song someday; it was an instrumental in FINAL FANTASY VII, but I thought it would be good if a song could be made with a different melody, and that has been realized this time. I am very happy.
Since this song is a love song, I hope that it takes flight in the world along with Loren's wonderful singing voice and becomes a standard for love songs.
