In addition to the four protagonists competing in the Grand Tournament—Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda—the Direct revealed the existence of a Main Protagonist who guides them.
Descending upon a world on the brink of destruction due to the revival of the Evil God, the Main Protagonist gathers allies to confront the threat.
To alter a ruined future, they travel back in time to the past.
You can customize their appearance with either a male or female form.
In the Japanese version, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka voices the male form, while Marina Inoue (@Mari_navi) voices the female form.
You can freely change the name from the default name.
Select Tracks Now Available on Nintendo Music
Select tracks from the game are now available on Nintendo Music, the music streaming service for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
You can enjoy a preview of 10 tracks in total, including the main theme, The Blaze - Cycle of the Sun, and A Life of Glory, which takes inspiration from the series' familiar Theme of Meeting.
Fire Emblem Series Theme Added to Nintendo Today!
Nintendo has added a new Fire Emblem series theme to the smartphone app, Nintendo Today!
You can select it by updating the app to the latest version.
Characters from across the series notify you of the date with daily rotating animations over 31 days, and the four protagonists of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave also make an appearance.
Manga Serialization Confirmed in Saikyo Jump
A manga adaptation of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave has been confirmed for serialization in the monthly comic magazine, Saikyo Jump.
Following Fire Emblem Engage, Kazuro Kyou (@konnichi_warou) will illustrate the series.
Chapter 0, serving as the prologue to the story, is scheduled to appear in the October issue of Saikyo Jump (releasing Friday, September 4, 2026) and on the manga app, Shonen Jump+.
Dagdan Collection Packed With Various Bonus Items Also Open for Pre-Order
Pre-orders for Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave are currently open, heading toward its launch on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
In addition to the standard edition, a special edition set featuring various bonuses, the Dagdan Collection, will also be released.
Housed in a display box featuring newly drawn artwork, it includes a 150-page art book, 12 art cards featuring the four protagonists, and more.
