Epic Games announced the latest v31.40 update for the popular battle royale game, Fortnite. With this update, the annual Halloween event, Fortnitemares 2024, arrives on the Battle Royale Island. It's packed with limited-time quests, new outfits, and special rewards. This year's Fortnitemares is even more appealing with the appearance of Disney Villains characters.

Fortnitemares 2024 Arrives on the Battle Royale Island!

Fortnitemares 2024 will run from Tuesday, October 15, 2024, until the end of Chapter 5 Season 4. During this period, players can take on various limited-time quests to earn special rewards. The quests feature unique items like the explosive Boom Billy and a rideable chainsaw. Additionally, undead weapons unvaulted from the Underworld will return, including the Wood Stake Shotgun, Pumpkin Launcher, and Witch Broom.

Furthermore, the Horde Rush mode returns, where you can team up to fight and survive against a horde of Cube Monsters. This year's Horde Rush features a Mod Benches, and the goal is to land combos, collect score multipliers, and defeat the final boss. Horde Rush has its own unique quests, and clearing them earns you XP and helps you complete the Fortnitemares XP quests.

A variety of ominous items will be available in the shop. In addition to the "Billy" outfit, the lineup includes the following characters:

Sally and the Pumpkin King
Mephisto
Edward Scissorhands
She-Venom and Agony
Leatherface
Ravemello

Additionally, Disney Villains such as Maleficent, Captain Hook, and Cruella de Vil will appear, allowing players to enjoy the game dressed as these characters.

Symbiote Cup Held!

As part of Fortnitemares 2024, a battle royale Duos tournament, the Symbiote Cup, will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 (US time). In this tournament, teams with the highest points in each region will be awarded the "She-Venom" and "Agony" outfits before they appear in the shop. The Symbiote Cup is a great opportunity for players to test their skills and earn special rewards.
