— Once again, please give us your thoughts now.
yutta: I have been playing hard for revenge ever since the previous EVO Japan 2025, so I am really happy that I could win.
— Based on the results of EVO Japan 2025, with what kind of mindset did you approach this year?
yutta: I had some concerns about using Roa in a Best of 3 format, so about half a year ago, I chose Hisui and was practicing with her specifically for this tournament.
I think those results clearly showed this time, so I want to give my past self a pat on the back (laughs).
Saiga NAK— How do you feel looking back at the final match?
yutta: My opponent, Moai, is a very strong player once he gets on a roll, and at the point where he took three games first and triggered a bracket reset, I felt the momentum was bad.
I'm glad I managed to make a comeback somehow.
— You continued to use Hisui even after the reset.
yutta: Mario, my other main character, didn't have a very good win rate against Moai.
It wasn't so much that Hisui was definitely the way to go, but rather a feeling of "I just have to do this!"
Saiga NAK— At the end, there was also the surprise announcement of the next title, MELTY BLOOD: TWI-LUMINA.
yutta: I am incredibly happy.
To be honest, I thought I would have to wait a few more years, and regarding the current game, I thought even if there were an announcement, it would only be some light adjustments.
I was really surprised, and I'm looking forward to it!
