Game Freak announced that it will release its new mobile game, Ame nochi Hare Onna, on iOS and Android in Winter 2026.
Pre-registration is currently available on each platform's app store.
The title will also exhibit at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (hereinafter TGS2026), held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17 to Monday, September 21, 2026.

New Game Freak Title Ame nochi Hare Onna Announced! A Laundry Game Synchronizing With Real-World Weather

Ame nochi Hare Onna is a brand-new mobile game from Game Freak, the creators of the Pokémon series.
The story follows the Hare Onna—girls who maintain normal weather and brighten people's hearts—and their divine messenger partners, the Kumorin, as they bring brightness and sunshine across Japan.

The game's most prominent feature is its weather integration, incorporating high-precision meteorological data provided by Weathernews Inc. directly into the gameplay system.
Real-world weather conditions—such as sunny, rainy, cloudy, or snowy—dramatically alter the in-game experience.

While living normal high school lives, the Hare Onna borrow the power of their Kumorin partners to don their Haregi and transform into their Hare-Sugata to confront entities causing abnormal weather.
After patrols and battles soil their Haregi, players must do the laundry to wash them clean, restoring their condition in preparation for the next patrol.

A special booth for Ame nochi Hare Onna will exhibit at TGS2026, held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 17 to Monday, September 21, 2026.
The venue will feature an exhibition area recreating the in-game Hare Onna Club room, alongside the "Machine Sentakki" washing machine featured in the teaser PV.

Rurubu Special Edition: Ame nochi Hare Onna

A limited booklet commemorating the TGS exhibition will be distributed.
It is a special issue supervised by JTB Publishing, the publishers of the original Rurubu travel magazines being paid homage to.

Ame nochi Hare Onna Promotional Detergent

Packets of laundry detergent featuring the Kumorin Pon Arai, who accompanies the Hare Onna Himawari, will be distributed.

Visitors entering the club room recreation spot will receive one special sticker.

Mini-Magazine Game Freak REBOOT

Visitors entering the club room recreation spot will receive one copy of the mini-magazine Game Freak REBOOT, paying homage to the inaugural issue of Game Freak.
A limited print run of 8,007 copies is scheduled for distribution.

Mini Acrylic Stands

Visitors entering the club room exhibition on days when it rains in Makuhari will receive one mini acrylic stand.

The official Ame nochi Hare Onna website features character profiles, special features highlighting Hare Onna active in high schools across Japan, and in-depth interviews covering Hare Onna activities.
